TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE BEHIND EACH STRIP

HOW IT WORKS

A Different Mechanism Entirely

Traditional dosage forms rely on digestion to release and absorb actives, a process that introduces delay, variability, and loss.

Oral dissolving films bypass this entirely.

01
Dissolves in Saliva
The strip disintegrates within seconds of placement on the tongue — no water, no swallowing required.
02
Actives Released Immediately
Active ingredients are released directly into the oral cavity, bypassing the digestive process entirely.
03
Absorbed Through Oral Mucosa
The highly vascular oral mucosa enables direct entry into systemic circulation — faster onset, reduced GI degradation.

This reduces dependency on gastrointestinal breakdown and improves efficiency

FORMULATION SCIENCE

What Goes Into Every Strip

Six precisely balanced components determine how a strip performs — from dissolution speed to shelf stability to user experience.

01
Film-Forming Polymers
Creates the structural backbone — controlling mechanical strength, flexibility, and dissolution rate.
30–50% of total formulation
02
Active Ingredients
The functional compounds responsible for the intended health benefit — vitamins, botanicals, adaptogens.
1–30% depending on potency
03
Plasticizers
Keeps the film flexible and non-brittle — critical for handling, packaging, and consumer experience.
0.2–10% concentration
04
Flavor & Sweetening Agents
Drives consumer acceptance and compliance — taste masking, natural flavors, sweetness modulation.
100+ flavours available
05
Saliva-Stimulating Agents
Enhances saliva production to accelerate dissolution — critical for the instant dissolve experience.
Citric acid · Malic acid
06
Stabilizers & Excipients
Ensures shelf-life, chemical integrity, and moisture resistance — especially critical for export markets.
Antioxidants · pH stabilizers

MANUFACTURING

From Slurry to Sealed Strip

Four tightly controlled processes. From raw slurry to sealed strip. Each with defined quality checkpoints to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.

Step 01
Slurry Preparation
Polymers, actives and excipients are blended into a homogeneous casting slurry under controlled temperature and vacuum.
HEAT CHAMBER PET FILM PATH → SLURRY DR. KNIFE THICKNESS CONTROL UNWINDER PET FILM REWINDER DRY FILM EXHAUST
Step 02
Casting & Drying
Slurry is cast onto a moving film carrier via a precision blade and dried to a uniform thickness through a controlled drying tunnel.
Step 03
Slitting & Cutting
Dried film is slit into precise lanes and cross-cut to uniform strip dimensions.
Step 04
Packaging
Strips are individually heat sealed under a controlled environment into foil pouches that are moisture protected.
